Literature Text
She took her little jewelry box,
and lay all her feelings inside it.
She cried a tear, right before,
she lay all her sadness away.
She dug a hole behind the church.
Not feeling anything at all,
she placed the box in-between,
mud and dirt, with ice cold hands.
She buried the box,
so no one could find it.
And off she went,
to one last place.
--
She stood at the edge,
of that big, cold cliff.
Looking down as she felt
-nothing at all.
With no expression on her face,
she took one last, deep breath,
before she lifted her cold arms,
and flew away.
and lay all her feelings inside it.

Little Drop
Little drop of misery
Falling tardily down my cheek
Bringer of a twisted memory
Bearer of everything bleak.
Little drop of anger
Exploding out of my pore
The painful burning passenger
Ending up crashing on the floor.
Little leak from my poor soul
drop by drop disappearing
Heart crushing, burned out cold
Massively hope consuming.
Little mind twisting drop
I have feared you all my life
Dreaded to let you pop
out of eye, a violent strife.
I'm resolute now to embrace you
Bless my life with this tear
Let the emotions pull through
For I now have none I fear.

Little Dreamer
In the corner of the garden is the tree where dreamers meet
So sleep little dreamer sleep...
Let sweet slumber take you little dreamer close your eyes
And I'll meet you in the garden where we'll dance with fireflies
We'll search for fallen stars that have crashed into the sea
We'll outrun the sands of time, little dreamer, you and me
Capturing moonbeams in bottles, sending wishes on the breeze
Lying back in the long grass under the canopy of trees
Watching as night fades away and the sun begins to rise
Now it's time to leave the garden little dreamer open your eyes
In the corner of the garden is the tree where dreamers meet
So slee

When I Was Little
Just because I don't remember a whole lot doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I remember that you lied.
You said he didn't want us.
they didn't want us.
It isn't true. I don't know if you believe it, but
it isn't true.
She told me, you know. The one I can only dream is my mother.
Told me how I took care of my little sister, made sure
that she had food. I was almost four, at the oldest.
I stored food for years, even after I no longer needed to stock up
to make sure I
to make sure we had enough.
I don't remember all of it, but I remember that.
Remember you being asleep
or maybe you were passed out
in that big recliner, and she and I
